Narcissa Black
History:
Celia and Lysander Black thought they had finished with children. They had two girls, and the youngest was already six years old. It was a surprise to the ageing couple to find they were having a third girl. Narcissa Cymbeline Black was born June 26th, 1961. She was the first blonde to be born in the Black family for generations. The Black family was quite extended and connected, with her closest cousins being Sirius, who was her age, and his younger brother, Regulus.
As the baby of the family, Narcissa tended to get everything she ever wanted. Her mother had less of a soft spot for her, but any time Celia said no, Cissy, as her family called her, would go to her father and pout. He could never resist her sad face, and she would get what she wanted.
At a very young age, Cissy learned to be respectful of her parents, and was heavily saturated with Pureblood propaganda. She grew up simply knowing that Muggles, Muggleborns and halfbloods simply weren't as good as she was, and deserved to be treated as such. She was also taught that she had to be attractive to succeed at life. As she became older, she continually experimented with fad diets, and the newest creams and make-ups to be sure she was all right.
The letter from Hogwarts was no surprise; both her parents, and her sisters had gone. It was simply another part of her life. She didn't have to wait long, as her birthday is in the summer. As soon as the letter came, she began to try to shift her nickname from "Cissy" to the more "grown up" Cissa.
At Hogwarts, she quickly gained control. People knew her sisters, and her family, and she almost automatically jumped into the social spotlight. She was always of the belief that the only thing worse than being talked about was not being talked about, and would go to great lengths to plant seeds of gossip in the ones who would pass it around.
